Privacy Policy

Short version: WealthDeck calculators run entirely in your browser. Your financial data — portfolio weights, income, savings, spending — never leaves your device and is never sent to any server. We collect anonymous page-view analytics and serve ads via Google AdSense.

1. Who we are

WealthDeck (wealth-deck.com) provides free, browser-based personal finance calculators including a Portfolio Stress-Tester, Retirement Calculator, and FIRE Calculator. The site is operated as an independent personal finance resource.

2. Data we do NOT collect

The following data is never collected, stored, transmitted, or shared:

Portfolio allocations or asset weights you enter into the stress-tester
Retirement inputs: age, savings amount, monthly contributions, return assumptions
FIRE inputs: income, spending, savings, or financial independence targets
Any personally identifiable financial information whatsoever
Your name, email address, or any account information (there is no account system)

All calculator inputs exist solely in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or refresh the page.

3. Analytics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous, aggregated statistics about how visitors use the site. This includes:

Pages visited and time spent on pages
Which calculator tabs are used (e.g., "Retirement Calculator", "FIRE Calculator")
General geographic region (country level only)
Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
Traffic source (how you arrived at the site)

GA4 is configured with IP anonymisation. We do not use Google Signals or cross-site tracking features. Analytics data is used solely to understand which tools are most useful and to improve the site.

4. Advertising — Google AdSense

WealthDeck displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads.

AdSense uses the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads. For more information on how Google uses data when you use partner sites, see Google's partner site policy.

5. Cookies

WealthDeck itself does not set any first-party cookies. Cookies on this site come exclusively from:

Google Analytics: measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that expire after 2 years
Google AdSense: advertising cookies used to serve relevant ads

You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin. Note that disabling cookies will not affect the functionality of any WealthDeck calculator.

6. Third-party services

WealthDeck is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and performance purposes. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

7. Children's privacy

WealthDeck does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The site contains no features that require or encourage children to provide personal information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
